Tracks at CD Baby

We are about at the end of 2018.  Hope the year was good for you, and 2019 will be even better.

CD Baby has all my tracks now into their system.  I have also filled out all information they need to publish the new release, "Fadin To Gray." They have set the release date to January 18th, 2019.  Again, this is a download only release.  Spending huge amounts of money to get a physical CD made just doesn't add up anymore.  Almost all of my sales come from downloads now. You can download the entire release into your phone, pad, or computer. Or you can download individual tracks.  It's a great option for you, the listener.  I am excited about this release. There are some really good songs for you to check out.

More Updates!

All tracks are uploaded to CDBaby. This includes a last minute addition, "57 Channels."  This is a Bruce Springsteen track I recently was messin with, and it came out so good I wanted to include it on this new release.  This brings the total to 10 tracks now.  6 Human Project originals and 4 cover tracks.  Also completed is the licensing for each of the 4 cover songs.  This will ensure the original artist will get compensated their part for any sales.  I keep it legal and would never rip off another artist.

Green check marks indicate song is uploaded in the CDBaby system, and all information has been provided they need.  This includes protecting my original songs as well and getting me paid should others want to record my stuff.  I still have to upload artwork. (Simple, its not a physical CD) and provide album description etc.

Raw photo I might use for release.  It has all my "Tools of the Trade." I use em all.  On this release I play most of the instruments.  On songs that I needed some good hot lead guitar work, I brought in AC Myles. Might as well get the best.  So I did.  And he is.

I am very pleased with this group of songs that I am getting ready to release.  I think you will like them as well.  No worries. I will give you more specific information of when this will be available for download

New Release Updates.

The new release (Fadin to Gray)  is still on track for mid-January, approxiamately Jan. 16th 2019.  One more track has been added. Bruce Springsteens 57 Channels (and nothin on). This brings the total to 10. Here are the track listings. There will be more detailed info on each track later.

New Track

Sometimes "messin" in the home studio can catch fire and you actually end up with something good, and in rare cases...really good. That is the case with Springsteens "57 Channels."  I worked on it for 2 days, it started catching fire and now it might make it onto my new release in January. New Release Progress

I got all 9 tracks uploaded into the CDBaby site.  This is the major part of the work. There are still some things I have to do to get the release ready, but I am damn glad I got this part done.  CDBaby will distribute the release to all the other major music distribution sites.  Again this release, "Fadin to Grey," is a download release only.  Physical CD's just don't sell anymore, especially for smaller artists like me.  You can download this into your phone, ipad or computer and be good to go. This will be available for download in mid January, 2019.  It has been 1 1/2 years since my last release.

I work out alot. It's a stress beater. It keeps me healthy and strong. I am no longer The Human

from my younger days. Health and fitness is my focus now.  It's a better buzz than artifically created ones that leave you feeling shitty and compromise your health. And I most certainly listen to kick ass rock when I pound the iron.   Sho do.  And yeah, I am tired in this pic.  :) But I get too much goin sometimes.  Still I find time for Iron.

Get ready...To Fade to Grey

New Release and Misc Updates.

I made it through another birthday. Starting to get up there, thats why the new release will be called, "Fadin to Grey."  But with age comes much experience. I have listened to alot of music over the decades.  Really good music. Some of it has had a big influence on me, so naturally it can get incorporated into my songs, and becomes part of The Human Sound.  Not everyone has the advantage because they are not as old as me. :)  I have decided to add one more track to the release. It's a stripped down acoustic driven version of Vicodin Blues that was originally on my 2011 release called "Last Train Out." This was recorded in my home studio and features AC Myles on lead guitar. The song just has a more organic feel to it. I think you will like it. It will be called Vicodin Blues, 2019.   AC is on a few more tracks as well, all recorded in home studio. I like the sound of these tracks, a way more home grown feel to them.  It's not a slick big studio release that the heart and soul of the tracks have been compressed until they can't breathe anymore.  They are just loud. A wall of sound for the masses, not the discerning listener like you.

He adds flavor and style to at least 5 tracks on the new release.

It will be a download only release.  You can download the entire album into your device, or just individual tracks.  There are 8 new tracks. New Track

Evolution of a New Track

I normally use my Boss BR 1600 to sketch out songs I am thinking about recording. But sometimes I can get magic goin on. It can be a mellow acoustic type thing, or I can crank up the drum machine it has and get a rockin track going. I was messin the other day with the drum machine and I started playing my acoustic with it. It was jammin. I tossed in some strat and then some bass. Put vocals on it. Lots of "Human Style," harmonies. Then I asked AC Myles if he wanted to come over and lay a lead track down.  He did. Scorching. Lethal.  Mercy. The track is called, "Fade to Grey."  It's about how fast life goes by.  And, it's where I am now. It will be on new release in January.  It will be on my show, (Human's show) on Podomatic too.

AC Myles is one of the best guitarists on the West Coast. Trust me.

He has played on several of my CD's.  Most recently 2017 "Humanize." Check

out Bar Room Meltown from that CD.  He can adapt easily to my style. 

Many have told me what good chemistry we have.  He keeps trying to drag

me out into the public for some live stuff. Ya Never Know. :)
